Beach Bound? Don’t forget the Bubbles

When the temperature hits 90F its time to hit the beach – especially when it is the first real beach day of the season.

As we were picking up some provisions this morning at our local liquor purveyor – we call them package stores in New England – we came across yet another ingenious idea from Veuve Clicquot. When the need calls for chilling the bubbles before departing for the sand – use this handy carry case, which is not only stylish but also practical. The bottle of Veuve stays nice and chilled in the holder while the very popular owner utilizes the attached handle for generous pours.

While it is non-vintage the yellow brut label carries some heavy weight ratings. It was perfect for our picnic of lobster and freshly baked chips but could easily handle shellfish and light flaky fish. It has a beautiful aroma and a burst of energy on finish.

Not to brag but we were pretty popular and received lots of inquiries as to where we found this unique packaging. Check with your local wine steward to see if they have received this unique delivery to their shop.

Cheers!
